We did the 5k very early on a lovely Friday morning on the Jordan River Trail (of course). As we get further into fall, I get less and less upset about the lack of shade cover and try to enjoy the magnificent mountain views.

Finishing the Basement

Then the pandemic happened. Chad was working from home. My sister dropped in for several weeks (with the best niece in the world), to wait out part of the quarantine in Utah instead of California. Suddenly, our house was too small. And we had all of our 2020 travel budget all dressed up and nowhere to go.

August Races

Chad had found this race several years ago and signed us up and apparently we were still on their emailing list. I was glad to see that this is a yearly event and the medals are super cool EVERY YEAR. The only thing that would make them cooler is if Michael J Fox came with them.

The Laundry Room

In our condo, the laundry “room” was a closet adjacent to the kitchen. When we started building the house, I had been imagining our new Laundry Room as a grand mecca of organization. A space that would not only do the laundry practically by itself, but also hem all the pants I’m hoarding in the event that I actually get around to adjusting them for my midget height.
